Edita Tahiri met with Fernando Gentilini, EEAS

On 10 April 2014, Deputy Prime Minister Edita Tahiri met with Mr. Fernando Gentilini, Director for Western Europe and Balkans of EU External Action Service. They discussed about the progress made and the future prospects as for the implementation of the Brussels Agreement.
Tahiri and Gentilini talked about the progress made by the government of Kosovo on the integration of Kosovo Serbs from the north of Kosovo and on the establishment of law and order in this part of the country.
Mr. Gentilini expressed the EU’s readiness to assist on the implementation of agreements, reached between Kosovo and Serbia, and stated that “European Union is highly committed to facilitate and enable the implementation agreements.”
Ms. Tahiri concluded that so far the implementation of this agreement is moving according to the implementation plan and the challenges were addressed and resolved.
