First meeting between Kurti and Vučić

The first high-level meeting of Pristina- Belgrade Dialogue with Albin Kurti, Prime Minister of Kosovo and Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia, was held on 15th of June 2021, in Brussels, Belgium. This meeting was held under the mediation of the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Mr. Borrell and his envoy Mr. Lajcak.

Kosovo party during this meeting showed their critical attitude to the process and the agreements so far. They expressed their readiness for constructive dialogue and mutual recognition.

The Serbian delegation refused four proposals of the Kosovar delegation.

Both parties were encouraged by Mr. Borell to continue with meetings within the dialogue, without delay, and with a focus on producing results despite all existing obstacles.

During this meeting it was also decided that the next one will be held before the summer break starting on July 25th.
