Meeting on advancing the EU Integration Agenda

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, met in Brussels, with Baroness Catherine Ashton, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Prime Minister Thaçi pointed out during the meeting the importance of advancing the European integration agenda of the Republic of Kosovo. He reiterated that Kosovo is committed to accomplishing all the requirements and duties deriving from the process, including the normalization of interstate relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia as two independent states as part of good neighborly relations in line with the European standards.

While in Brussels, Prime Minister Thaçi had a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia, Ivica Dačić. The meeting between Prime Minister Thaçi and Prime Minister Dačić was mediated by Baroness Ashton who also participated in the meeting. The meeting took place in an attempt to continue the EU-facilitated dialogue. All the participating parties agreed and expressed their commitment to the continuation of the dialogue on normalization of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Serbia.
