Meetings on the implementation of the reached agreements in Brussels

Deputy Prime Minister Edita Tahiri was in Brussels from 11 to 13 February 2014, where she participated in the dialogue to normalize relations between Kosovo and Serbia, and held meetings with EU representatives on issues of the implementation of agreements.

Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri met with the Director for Western Europe and the Balkans in the EU Service of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Fernando Gentilini, to discuss the progress of implementation of agreements of the technical and normalization dialogue and to strengthen relations between Kosovo and the EU, in terms of implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement

Deputy Prime Minister Tahiri also met with the EU mediators for energy and telecommunication issues, the representatives of the Directorate for Enlargement Catherine Wendt, director for Kosovo, and Nicholas Cendrowicz, asking for the acceleration of processes of implementation of the respective agreements. Another important meeting held with EU mediation regarded the cross border auto insurance agreement, where the parties have agreed that there is a need to increase the dynamics of meetings and conclude the agreement as soon as possible, as a contribution to facilitating the freedom of movement for citizens.
